The Holidays: Trampoline Assembly Guide

The Holidays: Trampoline Assembly Guide

The holidays 🎄 A truly magical time, but for parents, a bit stressful to say the least. You may have thought the endless scrolling for holiday savings, the Christmas music on a loop starting in October, and the hideous sweaters were the worst of your holiday experience, but it all leads to the crowned jewel of assembly days… Christmas Day itself! Here at Skywalker Trampolines, we’ve got the resources you need to minimize stress and hook you up with helpful tips about assembling your trampoline. Alright, start squeezing that empty eggnog carton for stress relief because we’ve got trampoline magic to build!

To Surprise or Not to Surprise?

First things first, subtlety is not our strength (sorry!). When a Skywalker Trampoline gets delivered to your house, it’s important to remember that the boxes do have branding and the word “TRAMPOLINE” printed on them. So, if you’re trying to keep this present a secret, you better make sure the elves hide those boxes before the children see.

Making a List, Checking it Twice

Once the gift is out of view, don’t just hide the trampoline in the crawl space until you hear the click-clack of reindeer hooves. First, double-check to make sure you received all the boxes necessary. Fun this big comes in several boxes (up to 3 or 4 in some cases). We also recommend taking an inventory of all the parts you received by cross-checking the contents with your manual’s inventory list. In need of assistance? Our customer service department has you covered. Reach out to them by calling 1-866-603-5867 or submit an email inquiry HERE.

Work Smarter Not Harder

The trampoline does come with all the necessary tools for assembly, but your life will be a lot easier if you use a drill to tighten those screws and bolts. You can still do it all by hand for extra credit, but you’ve got bouncing to do and C’s get degrees, right? Plus, most hardware stores will be closed at that time, so plan ahead for a quick assembly experience.

Just Follow the Map!

Hey you! Person that always avoids asking for directions or says ‘don’t worry honey I got this’, yeah, this part is for you! Every trampoline comes with an instruction manual to help assembly go smoother. Do not try to assemble without reading the manual carefully. If you prefer a digital format, links to both a manual and an assembly video can be found on our website on your trampoline’s product page. Visual learners, do you hear that? It’s the sound of our assembly videos calling your name!

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

Don’t be a hero and try to assemble the trampoline yourself! Grab someone to help you; elves work best in pairs of two, right? And no one offers awards for procrastinators, so make sure you give yourself enough time to assemble! If you want to surprise the kids with an already assembled trampoline, then realize that it typically takes around 2 to 3 hours to assemble a full-sized trampoline. Longer if you take snack breaks or feed the reindeer. 🤪

Should’ve Measured That… 🙄

Why learn from your own mistakes when others have already made plenty for the both of us? Here’s a pro tip from Christmas’ past: Assemble your mini trampoline in the room you want to keep it in. If you assemble your new 60-inch mini trampoline in your living room for under the tree but plan to use it in a kid’s room, be prepared to disassemble and reassemble because our mini trampolines don’t fit through most door frames. Let’s avoid that classic ‘face palm’ scenario, shall we? 🤦

We hope by the time you’re done reading this, you feel less stressed about the holidays and more confident in your abilities to get your trampoline assembled in time to surprise your kids. Thanks for including Skywalker Trampolines in your family’s most important memories and celebrations. Happy holidays and happy jumping! 🎊
